TCM stands for Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is a system of medicine with a long historical and cultural background that has been developed in India and China. It is based on the principle that good health is achieved by maintaining a balance between the opposing forces of yin and yang, which are believed to be the fundamental characteristics of the universe.
TCM uses a holistic approach to healing, considering a person’s physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. It is based on the belief that the body has the innate ability to heal itself and that illness is caused by an imbalance in the body’s vital energy, known as Qi (pronounced “chee”).
